Silver Wraith #WDC87 is an example of a very elegant James Young Saloon. It’s built to body number 1733 of design number WR17M. Although it is no limousine body the available space for passengers is huge and the rear compartment is very comfortable and provided with nice details. Only 8 examples were made with this James Young WR17M body without division. The car was delivered new in June 1949 to Mr. C. Lotery who had ordered a lot of very special features. In 1950 it was the winner of the Cannes Concours d’Elegance. It is finished in an attractive two-tone green paint and is in a very good condition throughout. Because it is not possible to determine when the last maintenance took place, new maintenance is recommended.
